On Friday, September 7, 2018 our Mom, Mrs. Anna Lendzyk, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge to join her family and pets already in Heaven. She was 89.
She was born on February 24, 1929 in Janow Corners, SK. She was predeceased by her husband, John Lendzyk in 1997; parents, Maria Krawee and Dmytro “Jim” Kosinski; sisters, Sylvia and Tillie; brothers, Micheal, Peter, Joseph, and Maxim. Mom is survived by her daughter Gloria Lendzyk of Moose Jaw and her children Matthew, Jordan, Mitchel and Jesse; daughter, Debbie (Patrick) Downey of Melfort and their children Taylor and Liam; son, David Lendzyk of Prince Albert; son, Larry (Karen) Lendzyk of Saskatoon; her two remaining siblings, Maria Tyerman and Paul Kosinski of Prince Albert.
Our family would like to give special thanks to Maria for the countless days she spent with Mom keeping her company and not feeling alone. Special thanks to Dr. Painter and his clinic, the nurses at Victoria Hospital in ICU, and Levels 5 and 6, and all the Home Care staff that all took good care of Mom.
Our mom will always be remembered for her loving care of us, always supporting what we did. Her love for her family also included many pets over the years as most of you know. Freddy was one of those that was most special to her. Mom loved to visit family and travel to many air shows wherever the Snowbirds flew. We travelled to Moose Jaw many times to watch them fly. In Mom’s younger days, she had lived and worked there for a period of time. Mom took pride in her family, her home, her yard, and her animals.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday September 25, 2018 at the Church of the Nazarene, 26 18 St E, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Bernice McNair officiating. Interment will be in the South Hill Cemetery. Family and friends wishing to send online condolences are welcome to visit www.beaulacfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, Lorne Adams, Funeral Director, Prince Albert, SK 306-763-3322.
