Fred was predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Daisy McKay; his brother, Jim McKay; and his best Lorne Nelson. Fred is survived by: his children, Charlene (Jeff Schierer) and daughters, Kristen, Kimberly and Kaitlin; Rodney McKay and children, Kyle, Nicole and J.T; Sandra Hamonic and children, Ryan and Alexandra; the mother of his children, Vi McKay; his siblings: Isabelle Harris, Jean Hewitt, Norman McKay, Linda McKinnon and Shirley Otterbein. He will be greatly missed by his birth family, Natalie and Kenny Paul and friends from Shell Lake, and all those who knew him.
