Arthur Arnold Altstadt

Art was born on October 13, 1935, in Sturgeon River District, SK. He passed away peacefully on March 7, 2024, at the age of 88 years at Whispering Pine Place in Canwood, SK.

Art spent his life in the Canwood, Stump Lake area working on road construction and farming.

He is lovingly survived by his 3 children: Janet Smith, Jeff (Celine) Sipes, and William (Michelle) Altstadt; as well as his 7 grandchildren: James Smith, Wesla Smith, Joel Sipes, Jordan Arnason, Preston Altstadt, Chanze Altstadt, Camden Altstadt; and 12 Great Grandchildren.

A private family interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Arthur to the Whispering Pine Place (Box 418 Canwood, SK S0J 0K0).
